The mediation process is successful in resolving disputes between parties approximately 80% of the time. The basic reason for the resolution is the uncertainty of jury decisions and the cost of litigation. Both can keep the parties and the attorneys up late at night. Resolving your case gives finality to an otherwise stressful period in the lives of both sides. Having both won on cases I shouldn’t have and lost at trial when we should have been victorious is compelling evidence that resolution prior to trial gets you a known outcome. Vegas isn’t for everyone!
